Employment Opportunities

Information for All Applicants

Camp Webb is an outdoor ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee.  Everyone who comes to Camp Webb is given the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others, to discover more about the Episcopal Church, to develop a greater spiritual awareness, and to encounter God through living and learning about God’s creation.  Campers will learn new skills, make new friends, create lasting memories and explore who they are and who God is in their lives. 

 

Requirements: (Minimum Education and Experience)

·         Must have the ability to lead, motivate and interact with all age levels.

·         Must submit health history record and examination form prior to first day of work.

·         Must submit to a complete background and reference check.

·         Must attend all sessions of camp beginning June 27 and ending  July 29.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Previous camp (or related) experience.

·         Certifications in First Aid and CPR.

·         Other camping certifications.

·         Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.

 

Other beneficial Qualifications:

·         Computer skills

·         Music abilities

·         Lifeguarding Certification

 

Staff training will consist of but is not limited to:

·         Safeguarding God’s Children - Misconduct Prevention Training

·         Boundaries Training

·         Multicultural/Anti-Racism Training

·         Leadership Skills Training

·         Adult and Child First Aid

·         Team Building and Training

 

Staff benefits:

·         Room and Board (you will be housed in a cabin with private space for you that will be shared with volunteers such as chaplains or nurses)

·         24 hours off (sometimes more) each week as well as time off each day that will be coordinated with the other staff.

Program Director

Reports to: Camp Director

 

As the Program Director, you are given the amazing opportunity to work with the staff in all aspects of the camp life.  You will be responsible for helping the counselors in the planning, teaching, coordinating, and implementation of our program which will guide campers the experience of Camp Webb.   


Leadership/Counselor-in-Training Director

Reports to: Camp Director

 

As the Leadership/Counselor-in-Training Director, you are given the amazing opportunity to work with the teenagers who come for our Leadership Camp and who are in the CIT Program as they learn and explore all aspects of the camp life.  You will be responsible for leading  the counselors in the planning, teaching, coordinating, and implementation of our program which will guide campers the experience of Camp Webb. 

 

Head Counselors                   
Reports to:  Program Director

 

As a Head Counselor, you are given the opportunity to help build the staff of counselors, to be a staff leader and to create a cohesive team as well as be a caregiver, mentor and leader for our campers.  You will be responsible for assisting the Program Director in the planning, teaching, coordinating, and implementation of our program.
 
Counselor

Reports to: Camp Director

 

As a Counselor, you are given the amazing opportunity to be the primary caregiver, mentor and leader for our campers.  You will be responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and implementation of our program which will guide campers the experience of Camp Webb.
